Art and Anarchy

On Thursday 11 November (20.00-22.00) in the shop "Gilea (Tverskaya Boulevard, 9) in the regular Gileyskih readings by a discussion on" Art and Anarchy. The discussion will include a presentation of the first Russian edition of "Anarchy in the era of dinosaurs" (published by "Gilea). The authors - an American team of "Curious George Brigade, affiliated with a network of collectives CrimethInc.
CrimethInc - a group of teams, balancing the line between activism and art. Among artistic practices CrimethInc - books, posters, comics, music and cinema festivals.CrimethInc created a new image of "criminal thinking" and built his own world, based on internal communications, which became the hallmarks of complete anonymity and absolute independence. CrimethInc these practices may be useful for the functioning of modern Russian art activism.
Topic of discussion draws us to the years of prosperity of Russian artistic and literary avant-garde. In particular, to a short period of time in Moscow, published the newspaper "Anarchy" (1917-1919), in which KMalevich, A. Rozanov, Alexander Rodchenko, N. Udaltsova, V. Tatlin, A. Gan, and others advocated a new era in art.
