The European Commission is planning to unify and prevail upon the law on asylum.
Submitted by Редакция on 9 July, 2010 - 14:57The European Commission plans to introduce a single legislation on asylum throughout the EU, resulting in Germanic law on refugees, tightening in 1993, may be considerably weakened.
As a result, Germany may lose the right to deport alleged refugees directly from the transit zones of airports. The Commission also plans to limit time for consideration of asylum applications by six months with possibility of renewal proceedings another six months.
